Custom Beef sold directly to the consumer. Our cattle are bred to accommodate the family freezer. The animals raised by JuHa Cattle Company are not as big as the commercial cattle you would get from the feedlots. A common misconception: THAT cow in the field will NOT fit in my freezer! But after being processed and packaged for the cuts you have specified, you will have adequate room in a family freezer to accommodate a half (or side) of beef. Carcass weights (hanging weight) for a side averages around 275-300 lbs and after packaging, the meat you bring home will be about 175 lbs. of meat.
